MARTINI Project: (MARTINI - Making and Remaking Things that Inspire the Imagination:
This as a upcycling project in which women worked on repurposing saris; re-finishing picture frames; repairing jewelry and furniture; and making Cariwest costumes.

Worker B’s Project was a small-scale project in response to the many reported barriers to employment that immigrant and refugee women face when they arrive in their new country. It provided learning workshops, work placements and volunteer opportunities for newcomer women who received a stipend for their participation.

Against the backdrop of the traumatic Lloyd Floyd killing in the US, the reactions by governments and people around the world and here at home, CWN became motivated to take time to reflect, become better informed, and plan actions we could take. After a series of Let's Talk meetings, and one on one conversation, CWN produced a report "Something Is Wrong."

Women Across Divides brought together 43 women- Caribbeans, Africans, Latinas, Indians and others to build relationships among themselves, provide supports to each other, develop active leadership among themselves; and generally helped them to participate more fully in community life.

– P.L.A.C.E. (Peer leadership and Capacity Enhancement) for Younger Women . Younger women, ages 18-39 were involved as learners and service providers.
-Two Youth Exchanges were organized with assistance from the YMCA of Edmonton- Youths from Edmonton visited with youths from Toronto and hosted the Toronto youths in Edmonton.
